Job Purpose
The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is the largest stock exchange in the world by market capitalization offering icons and entrepreneurs the opportunity to raise capital and change the world. The Beijing Representative Office of NYSE is seeking an administrator/graduate to manage the office’s daily operations and support the team through research, translation and preparation of materials for external meetings.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Beijing office - general administrative tasks, organizing office operations and procedures, liaise with facility management vendors
- Coordinate travel arrangements, hotel bookings, and transportation for visiting executives and international team members
- Manage the budget, ensure timely reporting and invoicing
- Filling travel & entertainment expenses for office members and ensure that all items are invoiced and paid on time
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate meetings and events events
- Collaborate with headquarters on office initiatives, projects and global policies
- Assist the team with research on market and company specific information
- Customize and translate PowerPoint presentations
- Support the team with other relevant materials as needed
Knowledge and Experience
- Business Level English and Mandarin, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software
- Organizational and planning skills
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
- Work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment
- Knowledge of the financial markets industry and experience in a multinational company is a plus
